Over 150 sports and activities - covered for free

Sometimes one of the best ways to make more memories on holiday is to get active. And when you insure with World First, you get complimentary cover for more than 150 sports and activities - from sailing and snorkelling to horse riding and hot air ballooning. Have a kick about with the locals. Keep up with your running regime. Or try something completely new. Anyone for sand yachting?

Here's the list of the sports and activities you are automatically covered for

Winter sports cover

If skiing and snowboarding is your thing - and why shouldn't it be? - then ask about our winter sports extension. For a small addition to your premium we can provide you with a specialist policy for the piste. It comes with cover for piste closure and off piste runs as well as all of your equipment, whether it's your own or hired. You also get cover for up to £10m of medical expenses, £2m personal liability cover and £20,000 personal accident cover.

Golf holiday cover

Hitting the fairways in foreign climes is a lot of fun. And while we can't promise your swing will be perfect, we will cover your clubs. Just add our golf extension when you are arranging your policy. It also includes cover for your green fees if you have to change your plans. We will even cover the round of drinks back in the clubhouse if you hit a hole in one. Fore!

Staying safe

Of course we want you to have a great time while enjoying your activities on holiday - but we also want you to stay safe. It's why cover is subject to you using the recommended safety equipment and following safety procedures. If your activity is provided by a local operator they must be appropriately qualified and licensed. And sea-based activities are only considered while in European waters and must be within 12 nautical miles of the coastline (Inshore).

The activities listed below are covered on a non-professional and non-competitive basis unless otherwise stated. All activities marked with an asterisk (*) are included without personal liability cover. Those marked with a (‡) do not include personal accident cover.
